近代著名诗僧释敬安的诗歌中,咏梅诗占所有咏物诗之冠,有129首,其中直接以梅命题的诗有19首,梅意象出现的频次也最高,有146次,成为其诗歌的第一意象。其咏梅的角度多种多样,主要是通过与其他花木鸟物并举的意象组合的方式,运用多种修辞手法,托物言志,通过抒发对梅的喜爱,表达诗人对在艰苦环境中生存,并塑造魅力人格的追求。

Of the poems by the well-known poetic monk Jiang-an,the poetry on plum blossom,is on top of the poems about object.There are 129 in total,of which 19 take plum blossom in the titles.In addition,the image of plum blossom appears most frequently,146 times altogether and No.1 image in his poetry.He used different ways to express his admire for plum blossom,mostly through the praise of the other flowers and birds at the same time.Apart from that,different rhetorical devices are used.By portraying the peculiarity of the plum blossom,the poet expresses his pursue on building good personality in life filled with hardships.
