广东服务业外商投资的就业效应研究

Research on the Employment Effect of Foreign Direct Investment in Services in Guangdong

服务业外商直接投资通过短期和长期就业效应对流入地的服务业就业市场产生深远影响。文章剖析服务业外商直接投资就业效应的作用机理,分析广东服务业外商直接投资以及服务业就业市场的发展特征,实证考察广东服务业外商直接投资的就业效应,并提出政策建议。研究结果表明:广东服务业外商直接投资对服务业劳动力市场产生的总就业效应为微弱负效应,广义脉冲响应函数显示广东服务业外商直接投资产生的短期就业效应为负而长期就业效应为正。

Foreign direct investment in services has a profound influence on the employment market of service industry in an inflow area via short-run and long-run employment effects. This paper decomposes the mechanism of the employment effects caused by FDI in services, analyzes the development characteristics of FDI in services and the employment market of service industry in Guangdong, makes an empirical research on the employment effects caused by FDI in services, and proposes some policy recommendations. The result of the research indicates that the total employment effects that FDI in services brings to the employment market of service industry in Guangdong are a weak negative, and the generalized impulse response function shows that FDI in services produces a negative short-run employment effect but a positive long-run employment effect.
