《离骚》“高冠”新解

A NEW INTERPRETATION ON"THE LOFTY HEADDRESS" IN LI SAO

作为屈原形象特征的"高冠长剑",并不是诗人用以表示自己异于众人的服饰,其只是楚国的普通士服,但却有着通神的象征意义,是楚地祭祀文化的集中体现。在诗中"高冠长剑"具有双重含义,既指通神,又喻美德。

The lofty headdress and lengthwise pendent, which are always considered as the unique appearance of Qu Yuan, don＇t show that they are different from the other intellects＇ raiment. They are just the ordinary raiment of the intellects of Chu nation, which however symbolize the communion between human and divinity and represent the witchcraft and memorial culture of Chu nation. In Li Sao, the lofty headdress and lengthwise pendent possess connotations of the communion between human and divinity and virtue.
