摘要
本研究采用实证研究的方法,探讨英语专业学生利用网络语料库是否可以提高英语写作中的语块运用能力。实验使用有声思维的方法记录被试学生利用网络语料库修正写作中的语块过程,并且之后对其进行了访谈。研究发现,经过一年相关培训的实验班学生在英语写作中产出的错误语块数量有所减少;有声思维记录证实了学生在写作过程中可以利用网络语料库提取完整语块并提升语块表达;学生对网络语料库辅助写作模式持肯定态度,认为它有助于提高英语写作中的语块准确性和培养英语写作的学习自主性。本研究的结论是:网络语料库辅助写作模式有助于提高中高级英语水平学生在英语写作中的语块运用能力。
The article reports on an empirical study that examined whether online corpora could be applied by English-major students to facilitate lexical chunking in English writing. "Think-aloud" method was applied in the study to record the process of students' lexical chunk revision in English writing and interviews were arranged afterwards, It is found that students of the experimental class with one-year training were less likely to produce incorrect chunks in English writing, that students' "think aloud" record confirmed students could use online corpora to pick up the complete lexical chunks and improve them, and that students held positive attitude toward corpus-assisted writing, considering it useful to improve lexical accuracy and develop their learning autonomy in English writing. A tentative con- clusion is that the corpus-assisted writing is helpful to intermediate and advanced students in facilitating the lexical chunking in English writing.
