Analysis on history of sea transportation between two sides of the Taiwan Straits

考古发现证明,台湾海峡两岸不仅文化一脉相承,其海上交通也有着悠久的历史。台湾海峡非但没有成为阻隔两岸往来的屏障,反而成为两岸交流的天然通道。分古代、近代和现代三个部分,考述从远古至现代几千年时间跨度的台湾海峡海上交通历史。

Archaeological findings have provided sufficient proofs that the two sides of the Taiwan Straits not only come down in one continuous line in culture,but also have a long history of ocean transportation.The Taiwan Straits never become the barrier that cuts off the come-and-go of the two sides,but on the contrary it has provided a natural passage between two sides of the straits.This paper,in three parts of ancient times,modern times and the present-day period,represented the history of sea transportation between two sides of the Taiwan Straits,which has already lasted for several thousands years.
