从概念隐喻的角度,从饮食中的器皿炊具、烹饪手法、食物原料方面,探讨汉语语言和英语语言俗语中的隐喻意,以帮助语言学习者更有效地了解中西饮食文化和进行跨文化交际。

This paper intended to probe into the metaphor meaning in Chinese and English idioms from the perspective of conceptual metaphor.It researched into the topic from three aspects： cooking utensils,cooking techniques and food raw materials.The purpose of this paper is to help language learners understand Chinese and Western diet culture better,and help them make efficient intercultural communication.
