The creation of the network teaching system abided by the principle of ＂students-centeredness and teacher-frontedness＂ aims at the active construction of knowledge. British-American literature teaching system, made up of a database of the English literary materials, a subsystem for teachers and a subsystem for students, is a guarantee of the dynamic integration of students-centeredness and teacher-frontedness.
