Gyroscope sports are one of traditional sports from minority nationality, and also one of advantage events in Guizhouprovince. As a course resource in elementary and secondary schools in Guizhouprovince, it has the following significance： strengthening cultural education of national traditions; making up the lack of existing resources such as the sports playground and equipments; meeting the new needs of course reform; pushing the development of sports competition from the aspect of folk traditions.
