Stamping die is used very common in the modern industrial production.The life of stamping die is the most important factor for stamping products.Improving the die service life and lowering the production cost are always the pursuit by the enterprises on the aspects of die production,manufacture and application.Many factors affect the stamping die life.The methods to improve the service life of the stamping die in consideration of the die design,material selection,manufacturing process,die part surface treatment and etc.were investigated,which provide reference for the persons of the same trade.
