New Development in Strength Theory-Square Principal Shear Strength Theory

本文扼要介绍了一种新的强度理论——平方主剪应力强度理论的内容,说明其在强度理论方面的创新意义,进一步补充了该理论和实验资料的对照,以及通过计算实例和第三、第四强度理论、双剪应力强度理论进行比较,提出了进一步研究的问题。

A new stress theory, square principal shear strength theory was briefly presented in this paper. The significance of this theory was demonstrated for its innovation in development of strength theory. Additional correspondence was made between this theory and experimental data. Calculation examples were cited to make a comparison between third strength theory, fourth strength theory and twin shear stress theory. Problems that needed further study were also raised.
