摘要
通过对比分析《鹿鼎记》原文和其英译本(The Deer and the Cauldron)中的部分措辞,探讨了译者作为翻译活动的主体,在翻译活动中总是很难摆脱译者个人意识形态和目的语社会意识形态对其的影响和制约,总会在一定程度上用自身个人意识形态和目的语社会意识形态替代作者个人意识形态和源语社会意识形态,从而使译文文本呈现出与原文文本相异的特质。
By exploring some of the wording differences in the original text of Lu Ding Ji and its English version The Deer and the Cauldron through contrastive analysis, this paper is aimed to substantiate that when translating, the translator is very much likely subject to the influences from his/her own personal ideology and the ideology of the target culture. And he/she will sometimes substitute the ideologies of the author and the source culture with those of his/her own and the target culture, thus making the translation different from the original one.
