Investigation of Missing Report on Death Cause Surveillance in Nanjing

目的了解南京市死因登记工作中死亡病例的漏报情况。方法采用随机整群抽样方法抽取南京市3个城区和1个郊县,通过入户调查方法获得2008年居民死亡数据,与2008年的医学死亡登记系统电子数据库核对,统计漏报率。结果 2008年南京市居民死亡报告率为97.6%,漏报率2.4%。未做漏报调查前的粗死亡率是0.567%,按照2.4%的漏报率校正,2008年南京市的粗死亡率为0.580%。结论南京市死因监测漏报率较低,质量好。

Objective To know the situation of missing report on deaths cause surveillance in Nanjing areas. Methods Using randomized cluster-sampling method, residents （n=177 635） were selected from three urban districts and one rural county of Nanjing in 2008.Then, data of death cause report were analyzed. Results In 2008, the death reporting rate of Nanjing residents was 97.6%, the crude mortality rate was 0.567% before the investigation, and the corrected crude mortality rate was 0.580%, according to 2.4% of missing report rate, conforming to the national requirement. Conclusion The results showed that the missing report of death cause surveillance in Nanjing is lower.
