中国和印度是发展中大国,两个国家拥有庞大的市场规模和经济总量,双边贸易存在巨大的潜力。中印双方应加强贸易合作,充分挖掘双边贸易的潜力,将贸易潜力转化为现实的贸易利益。在分析了两国贸易现状和特点的基础上,运用贸易引力模型对两国贸易的潜力进行了实证研究,并对实证结果进行分析。

As the two large developing countries in Asia, China and India both possess large-scale markets and enormous economic aggregates with huge potential in their bilateral trade. Therefore the two countries should enhance their bilateral trade cooperation and realize the full trade potential so as to translate the potential into trade benefits. The paper explores the present situation and characteristics of the Sino-India bilateral trade and studies its potential in the empirical approach.
