在国内媒体不断呼吁运营商通过不限流量包月等方式吸引用户的时候,一些欧美运营商却纷纷推出了各自的"限流"计划,有的甚至干脆取消了数据业务无限量包月套餐。调整资费策略是运营商的理性选择,还是无奈之举?是否值得我国运营商借鉴?
Across the globe, decline of revenue from traditional services and data traffic surge have put tremendous pressure on operators regarding traffic management and business operation, under which operators in America and Europe have set to bring up data service prices, and take measures like abolishing unlimited data packages to limit the high traffic. This phenomenon may be an indication that the operators are conducting beneficial exploration in the multiple contradictions involved in the development and competition, and it also shows a concern about the exacerbated trend of operators 'role as pipeline providers'. Such change in data tariff is expected sooner or later to affect China. Currently China market remains at the phase of cultivating users’habits. Therefore, Chinese operators need to consider their pricing strategies based on the differences between China and Europe/US market: it is not wise to blindly increase the network load like AT&T, or to over charge users which could restrain the development.
