Analysis of rolled-in oxide scale on ER70S-6 steel wire rods surface

摘要 ER70S-6盘条表面存在大量氧化皮压入基体现象,严重影响焊丝成品表面质量和焊接性能,易产生表面红锈。通过调整除鳞水压从8 MPa提高到20 MPa和优化加热炉工艺,方坯除鳞效果得到明显改善,压入氧化皮明显减少。同时,焊接飞溅和表面红锈也明显减少。 Plentiful rolled-in oxide scale was observed in the ER70S-6 wire rods,it deteriorated the surface quality and welding properties of welding wire,and induced red rust.The descaling effect was improved and the rolled-in scale was obviously reduced by increasing the descaling pressure from 8 MPa to 20 MPa and improving the reheating process.The welding spatter and red rust were also reduced obviously.
