THE CORRECT USE OF DARNELL-MOL SOLIDE CONVEYING THEORY

在现有的教科书中 ,有关挤出理论的 Darnell- Mol固体输送理论中的应用例题部分内容计算有误 ,在此笔者给予更正。

The Darnell Mol′s solid conveying theory is an one important one in polymer processing with using plasticating screws, it′s main goal is to describe the behavior of conveying solid. In the feed section of screw, it′s output is dependent on the friction between the polymer and barrel, and the friction between the polymer and screw, there are some errors in the example using Darnell Mol′s solid conveying theory in some common textbooks, so the calculation results is not true. This paper makes the correction for those errors.
