From three stages,this paper introduces the development history of Guilin Library of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,exhibits the development innovation spirit and operation principles of ＂readers first and service first＂ insisted by this library in the service for readers,and points out that this library has played a positive role in the course of promoting Guangxi＇s economic development and Guilin＇s construction of two civilizations and has made great contributions.
