焦循曲论突出了悲剧审美的重要性,并将其与特定的心理因素相结合,从悲剧观念、悲剧结局和悲剧人物三个重要方面展开分析:悲剧观念与地理环境、文化传统和社会因素有关,悲剧结局体现在对"一悲到底"、"合乎情理"、"韵味悠然"等方面的强调,悲剧形象则要求人物具有"刚直正义"、"道德期待"、"替代强化"等内涵。
Jiao Xun＇s drama theory highlights the importance of tragedy aesthetics and combines drama and psychology.It is shown that concepts,ending and characters should be combined in tragedy aesthetics.Also,tragedy concepts are supposed to be related to geography,cultural traditions and social factors.Besides,tragedies are believed to display such philosophies as ＂tragic all the way＂,＂rational＂,＂rhythmic＂,＂justice＂,＂virtues＂ and ＂replacing reinforcement＂.
