This paper discusses the tradition of natural history in ancient Chinese culture.The author believes that in ancient Chinese culture,this kind of tradition of natural history can be regarded as a world view.Starting from ＂Natural History＂ by Zhang Hua in the Western Jin dynasty,the paper discusses the traditional form of expression in natural history.On this basis,the author discusses the ＂tradition of natural history in which strange and disorderly powers and deities are tolerated＂ in traditional Chinese culture,with the possibility of it being used as an ＂antidote to deconstruct scientism＂.
