Nursing safety management of elderly patients in cardiology department in military hospitals

目的减少老年患者住院期间的不良事件发生,确保老年患者安全。方法提高护理人员的风险管理意识,评估患者的安全风险,针对患者的风险因素采取加强健康知识的指导、突出重点环节的安全防护、加强重点时段的安全管理、强化重要临床指标的护理观察等措施,实施护理安全管理。结果提高了患者、护理人员满意度及护理工作质量,差异均具有统计学意义(P<0.01或P<0.05)。实施护理安全管理1年来,全年无差错、事故,无患者投诉及纠纷发生。结论开展临床安全护理管理对提高患者及护理人员满意度,全面提升护理质量具有积极的推动作用。

Objective To reduce adverse events of elderly patients during hospitalization and ensure patients＇satety. Methods The measures included increasing awareness of risk management of nurses, assessing safety risks of patients, strengthening health education, improving security protection at key links, strengthening security management in the key periods, and intensifying nursing observation of important clinical indicators. Results The satisfactory degree of patients and nurses were improved, and the quality of nursing was increased. The differences were statistically significant （ P 〈 0.01 or P 〈 0.05 ） . There were no accidents, patient complaints and disputes occurring after the implementation of safety management one year. Conclusion Implementation of nursing safety management can increase the patients‘ and nurses＇satisfaction, and play a positive role in promoting the quality of nursing.
