精神教育在美军治军理念中地位重要、内容丰富,尤其是在军人主体性作用发挥方面更是有独到之处。美军精神教育注重研究主体心理、认知和行为养成的规律,有效促进了士兵从老百姓到军人的转变,实现对核心价值观的认同。美军精神教育过程中主体性的理念与实践,对于我军完善思想政治教育体系,培养新型高素质军事人才具有借鉴与启发意义。

The spiritual education is important in the U. S. Army＇ s governing ideas. The content is rich, especially in giving play to the armymen＇ s initiative. In the spiritual education of the U. S. army, much attention is paid to the research of psychology, the law of cognizance and behavior so as to promote the change from civilian to soldier effectively and identify himself with the core values. The U. S. army＇ s idea and practice is of important significance for our army to perfect the system of ideological and political education to train new type military personnel of high quality.
