摘要
近30年来,二语习得在拓宽研究范围、关注语言学和认知理论、加强理论引导下的实证研究等方面均取得了快速发展。本文首先回顾二语习得早期研究的历史和20世纪80年代以来的学科发展,指出二语习得学科的最大特点是跨学科性。二语习得学科起源于外语教育并从外语教育中分离出来,成为一门具有相对固定研究内容与范式的独立学科。文章还通过归纳分析21世纪以来国际上出版的8本二语习得综合性教材/文集来进一步阐述二语习得研究内容的广泛性、研究途径的多样化与跨学科性的特点。最后.文章指出了二语习得研究对我国二语习得学科建设的启示。
The last 30 years or so has witnessed the tast development of SLA (second language acquisition) in terms of research scope, special attention to linguistic and cognitive theories, and theory-led experimental research. This paper, by looking back on the early history of SLA research and summarizing its development since the 1980s, claims that the most prominent feature of SLA is its interdisciplinary nature. SLA, though originated from language education, separated from it afterwards and has grown into a discipline with its own widely-accepted research contents and paradigms. Moreover, by reviewing the eight textbooks and monographs on SLA published in the world in the 21st century, the paper further illustrates the wide research scope, the diverse research approaches and the interdisciplinary nature of SLA. Finally, it discusses the implications of SLA study for the construction of the SLA discipline in China.
