摘要
CometD引擎采用了在服务器间进行消息广播的方式来实现对分布式的支持,它需要服务器集群节点之间使用HTTP协议进行通信,这种分布式的解决方案首先需要大量的编程工作,另外广播方式影响服务器的可扩展性。引入Terracotta技术来改进Comet的现有分布式解决方案,该方案的优点是透明地实现CometD引擎的分布式,大大减少了开发者的工作量。
CometD engines achieve distributed support by broadcasting message between servers,and it requires server cluster nodes communicate with each other by using the HTTP(Hyper Text Transport Protocol).This distributed solution needs lots of programming work first,furthermore,the way of broadcast affects the scalability of servers.This paper introduces Terracotta technology to improve CometD's existing distributed solution,the advantage of which is that it can transparently implement CometD's distributed index which leads to significantly cutting down the workload of the developers.
