After the end of the cold war, it is obvious that the regional ＂international society＂ is expanding at a global scope, it is difficult for the traditional IR theory to interpret and grasp of the international relations for this epoch. However, the IR theory of the ＂international society＂ from the English School, provides a unique perspective in a broader space-time to observe and analyze the regionalization process, and at the same time, ASEAN provides a typical case.
