The Same Root and Differnt Branches: A Comparison between Zhuang Literature and Dong Literature

生活在中国南方的壮侗两个少数民族都同是百越民族的后代 ,具有百越民族的文化特征。壮侗两个民族具有相同的神话传说 ,这都体现了壮侗民族文学具有同源的特点。但随着社会的发展 ,到了唐朝以后 ,壮侗文学开始分流 ,壮侗民间文学各有千秋 ,备具特色 ,而侗族文人文学确又不敢望壮族文人文学之项背。两个民族文学同源不同流 。

Zhuang Pwople and Dong People,two minority mationalities living in south of China,are both the descendants of Baiyue nationalities and all have the cultural characteristis of it.the some myth and legend imply the same resource of their literature.With the development of society,Zhuang and Dong literature begin brnching out after Tang Dynasty.Each has its strong points and blows its own song. According to the same root and different branches of literature,they can learn from each other.
