Innovation is the creative process of improving allactivities in an enterprise used to develop and deliver pwhucts andservices. It is a core competence and development driver of future oriented enterprise. The definition, characters and types ofinnovation are presented at first of all. The innovahon capacity of anenterprise not depend uPOn the creahon of innovators andmethodology of innovation only, more important are the culture,management and rewho systems of innovation in the company. Forenterprise to position itSelf competitively in the qUick changingmarket environment, it is essenhal that everyone in that company beinvolved in modern innovation strategies and practices. Changesinitiated to make People more motivated at work also serve tOlucrease the level of iunovahon. There are three basic innovationstheegies of products and business in the real world: offensive, keepabreast and imitative. T'he Chinese manufacturing industly shouldchange their strategy from imitahve to keep abreast and offensivestep by step in the near future. The implementation of innovahonincludes four main phases: the generahon and activation of creativeidea, preparetion to realizing it, realhation Of creative idea andtransfer innovation into practice. At last the innovation managementas a new business is introduced.
