摘要 教育是可持续发展的支柱。大学居于教育促进可持续发展的核心地位,在全社会迈向可持续发展的过程中扮演着示范性、导向性的角色。事实上,许多大学也已经敏锐地意识到自身的责任,在国际和国家层次的可持续发展条约、宣言和其他文献的推动下,发起或参与促进可持续发展教育的相关行动。但遗憾的是,几乎所有的宣言或宪章在现实中都没有得到全面有效的实施,大学的保守性仍然在阻碍大学转向可持续发展,大学亟须将促进可持续发展视为自身使命。 Education is the backbone of sustainable development. University is the heart of promoting sustainable development by education and plays a demonstrative and role--oriented part during the process of sustainable development. In fact, under the impetus of sustainable development treaties, declarations and other documents, many universities have recognized their responsibilities and initiated or participated in relative actions of education for sustainable development. But unfortunately, almost all of the declarations or charters are not fully implemented effectively in reality. University's conservative character is still in the way of shifting itself to sustainable development. University should hold sustainable development as its own mission urgently.
