摘要 液晶态被认为是一类介于固体和液体之间的物态,液晶态分子排列一维或二维长程有序。在垂直于表面的方向,液晶表现固体特性,阻止表面间的直接接触,固而具有较强的承载能力,而在滑动剪切方向,液晶表现为低粘度的液体,可有效地降低摩擦系数。本文对液晶化合物作为润滑剂及润滑添加剂的应用作出了简要评价。 Compounds in liquid crystalline state display an organized structure between their solid state and the isotropic liquid state, having long-range orientations in one or two dimensions. In the direction perpendicular to the bounding surface, they would be essentially solid and thereforeopposing contact; in the shear direction, they would be essentially liquid of low viscosity and therefore make for low friction. The tribological performances of liquid crystal compounds used as lubricants or lubricant' additives were evaluated in this paper.
