According to the relevant theory and reseatch results of the environmental costs, a cost computing model for a coal-fired power is proposed. Taking a denitrification project in a coal-fired power plant as an exam- ple, the environmental cost of the power plant is calcultated. It then does the environmental cost estimates under the different charging policies, and proposes a control strategy to reduce the environmental costs.
