西方的语言学以及西方近代语法理论,对促进日语语法理论和语法学派的产生,对日语语法研究水平的提高起到了极大的推动作用。受西方语言学说和语法学说的影响,日本的语法研究成果层出不穷,同时也涌现出许许多多优秀的研究学者。西方语言学说与日语语言关系的历时性研究,对于我们深入学习和研究日语语法,为我国的日语研究和教育乃至外语研究和教育具有极其深远的意义。

Western linguistics and grammatical theories in modern times play a great role in promoting the development of Japanese grammatical theories and grammar schools as well as in enhancing the level of Japanese grammatical study. Owing to the influence of Western linguistics and grammatical theories, Japanese grammatical study has gained abundant attention, and thus excellent researchers and scholars have emerged in great numbers. For this reason, diachronic study of the relation between Western linguistics and Japanese hnguistics has a profound significance on deepening Japanese grammatical study and research and on improving the Japanese teaching and study, even on promoting foreign language teaching and study in China.
