As an essential concept of Freudian personality theory Pedipus complex refers to several workinghypotheses which are very important for the establishment of the classical peychoanalytic system. However,people have been wondering whether thes complex is universal or of culture specialty? The author has carefullystudied Chinese material and found that it could not explain unconscious structure and personality formation ofthe Chinese people, and that complex of generation is the core complex in Chinese unconscious structure.
