摘要
Aizhel University of Egypt is a famous institution of higher learning with a long history in Islamic world. Since its foundation 1,000 years ago, the University has cultivated lots of talents and scholars for Egypt as well as other countries throughout the world. In 1930’s, many Moslem young scholars came to Yunnan (of Southwest China) to pursue studies. Later, these scholars became the mainstay in the causes of their countries’ construction. Meanwhile, Aizhel University has trained for China many scholars of Arabian language urgently needed. The University stands as a bridge in the establishment of Sino-Egyptian friendship.
