The Islamic reformism and nationalism of Egypt in the early 20th century gave impetus to the rise of the Feminism of Egypt. However, the Movement was restricted by the traditional Islamic culture. Anyway, the abilty, wisdom, and struggling spirit of the first generation of the feminists promoted the progress of the Egyptian society.
