摘要
数据驱动学习(DDL)利用语料库语言学方法,引导学习者通过观察大量真实语料发现和归纳语言现象,对改革传统外语教学模式起到开创性作用。如何使用该方法改革大学英语翻译实践是亟待解决的问题。将DDL方法应用于自建的本地学习者小型英汉双语语料库和权威双语平行语料库让学生可以从英汉对比的角度直观、全面地了解其各自典型差异,能够激发学生兴趣,对改革当前的大学英语翻译教学可以起到潜移默化的作用。
Data-driven learning developed from corpus linguistics plays a pioneering role in the evolution of EFL teaching, allowing the learners to indentify and induce language rules by observing numerous real corpora concordances. It becomes urgent to take advantage of this method and apply it to college transla- tion teaching. Applying DDL to our small-sized local learner translation corpora and two authoritative par- allel corpora allows the learners to appreciate the typical linguistic features in English and Chinese lan- guage and arouses their interests. As demonstrated, DDL proves a subtle effect to the revolution of college English translation teaching.
