Brief Analysis of the Differential Protection of Bipolar Neutral Line at Longquan Converter Station

龙泉换流站双极中性线差动保护,能够检测并清除接地极和极中性母线之间的接地故障。文章分析了龙泉站双极中性线差动保护的配置和算法,比较了龙泉换流站和葛洲坝换流站相似保护的优劣,提出了提高直流输电系统运行可靠性的建议。

The differential protection of bipolar neutral line at Longquan converter station is used for the detection of earthing fault occurring within the range of grounding electrode and neutral bus.In this article,the configuration and algorithm of the differential protection of common neutral bus at Longquan converter station was analyzed.The comparison of advantage and disadvantage between Longquan converter station and Gezhouba converter station was presented.Suggestions for increasing the reliability of the operation of HVDC transmission project were put forward.
