Yangpiao and Public Media——Analysis of Shenbao's Historical Value from the Kidnapping of a Priest

20世纪20年代,《申报》已在外埠建立了完善的新闻网络,并大量报道埠外新闻。这些外埠新闻虽呈现出报道的连续性、描述的准确性等史料学特点,但也存在着记载史实的矛盾性等问题。通过对1923年《申报》载应山天主教神甫被劫持这样一个埠外社会新闻的分析,可以推断中国近现代史最重要的报刊史料《申报》的民国时期的史料价值。

The newspaper of Shenbao has already built completely news network and massively reported the news from other cities in 1920＇s.These reports from other areas have such historical characteristic as continuity of report,accuracy of description.But at the same time they show contradictions in recording history.The historical value of Shenbao during the period of Republic of China is studied by analyzing the news of a priest＇s kidnapping which is called YangPiao,in Yingshan,Hubei province in 1923.
