The Causes and Significance of Liaohsi-Shenyang Campaign

人民解放战争进入1948年,人民解放军由战略防御转入战略进攻,中共中央、中央军委依据战局的发展变化,组织了辽沈、淮海、平津三个决战性战役及其他几个重要战役。辽沈战役即为三个决战性战役之首。从政治、经济、军事方面分析辽沈战役胜利的意义,不仅对人民解放军的建设与发展有一定的启示作用,而且对于人民解放军打赢高技术条件下的局部战争具有参考价值。

The people＇s war of liberation in 1948,situation produced major transition,the people＇s Liberation Army from strategic defense to strategic attack,bringing the war into the Kuomintang areas.Following the battle of Ji-Nan,the CPC Central Committee and the Central Military Commission on the basis of the war＇s development and changes,organized three decisive batters which include Liaohsi-Shenyang,Huai-Hai,Tianjin and several other important battles.The Liaohsi-Shenyang campaign ranks first in the three decisive battles.Studying the Liaohsi-Shenyang Campaign from the perspective of politics,economy and military will not only enlighten the construction and development of PLC,but also have reference value for the people＇s Liberation Army to win local wars under high-tech conditions.
