室外环境脉冲超宽带信号传播特性

Propagation Characteristics of the IR-UWB Signal in Outdoor Environments

摘要 脉冲超宽带(IR-UWB)技术在室外环境下有着广泛的应用,但是目前对其室外传播特性的研究还比较少。因此对室外开阔环境和低矮草丛环境下的脉冲超宽带信号进行了实验测试并获得了相关实验结果。通过对实验数据的处理得出:在1~30m传输距离上,开阔环境的路径损耗指数在2~3之间,平均附加时延不超过40ns;低矮草丛环境的路径损耗较大,损耗指数在4左右,而且多径效应比较明显,平均附加时延可达100ns。结合超宽带技术相关理论,对实验结论进行了验证,分析表明:所采用的实验测试方法可行,得出的传播特性符合客观规律,获得的相关参数能够为超宽带技术的室外应用提供依据。 Although the impulse radio ultra-wide band (IR-UWB) technology has widely applied in outdoor en viroments, the propgation characteristics of it has not been researched. The IR-UWB signals which propagating in open and shrubby grassland environments were tested experimentally. The experiment data processing showed that, in the outdoor open area,the path loss exponent was about 2-3 at the distance of 1-30 re,the mean ex cess delay was less than 40 ns; in the shrubby grassland environment, the signal's path loss exponent was about 4 and had an obvious multi-path effect,the mean excess delay was almost 100 ns. Combining with the theory of the IR-UWB, the experimental conclusion was proved, the experimental testing method was feasible and the propagation characteristics were coincident with the objective law. The parameters from this paper could be used as the reference to the outdoor IR-UWB technology.
