20世纪中国翻译史研究:共和国首29年对外国通俗文学的翻译:1949-1977

Translating Popular Literature during the Initial 29 Years in the History of PR China (1949-1977)

本文考察人民共和国最初29年(第1时期)对外国通俗文学的翻译。本文认为我国使用"通俗文学"时存在指涉含混、概念不清之弊,于是首先厘清涵义,继而对本期通俗文学汉译单行本作初步统计,基于统计对比前苏东社会主义国家跟欧美国家通俗文学的翻译,同时对比晚清、民国、第2时期(1978-1999)在这个领域的翻译,观察本期通俗文学翻译的兴衰演变,析述变化的主因。

Starting with clarifying its misleading concepts of this genre, this paper observes China＇s translating of popular literary works in book form from countries both of the Socialist ones with the Soviet Union at its leader and of the Western ones with France and Britain as its leading ones during 1949-1977. Based upon the statistics and in the context of the translation history in the twentieth century China, it puts in contrast different translating strategies before it inquires into what should have been responsible for their consequences.
