索引作为文献计量学分析工具的科学性与局限性

Scientificalness and Limitations of Index as a Tool for Bibliometric Analysis

索引具有两大基本功能：检索与分析。本文从作者索引、关键词索引、引文索引三种不同类型的索引出发，探讨了它们的文献计量学分析功能，并分别讨论了这三种索引用作文献计量学分析工具的科学性与局限性。最后得出结论，应充分发挥索引的分析功能，以利于科研工作的进行。

Index has two basic functions： retrieval and analysis. In this paper, we begin with three different types of indexes： author index, keyword index, citation index , and discuss their function of bibliometric analysis, and also discuss the scientificalness and limitations of these three indexes as a tool for bibliometric analysis. Finally we conclude that we should give full play to the analysis function of index in order to facilitate the conduct of scientific research.
