《干旱的九月》在艺术手法上的实验集中体现在:非线性的叙事时序;立体的结构布局;模糊化的叙述手段。文章对以上三方面进行分析,并讨论它们在展现杰弗生镇上白人种族分子对黑人的暴力行为,以及在揭示美国南方严重的种族歧视这一主题中所起的作用,从而窥见福克纳作品的现代主义创新。

The artistic technique of Drought in September mainly reflects in the follow nonlinear narrative timeseries： three-dimentional structure layout;and blur marrative way.This paper analyzes the above three aspects,discusses their embodiment of the violence acts of the white racialists in the town of Jeff to the blacks, and their role in revealing the serious racial descrimination in the south,from which we can detect the modernist innovation of Faulkner＇s works.
