A Study of Transformation from Municipal Engineering Design to Urban Design

市政设计正逐步向三维立体空间设计发展。通过对城市规划、市政设计与建筑设计三者的比较,探讨了"城市病"产生的原因,引出了城市设计的理念。讨论了城市设计与城市规划、市政设计、建筑设计三者的区别,阐明城市设计的重要性。回顾了广州的城市基础设施建设的发展历程,以珠江新城为例,引入城市设计的理念,将规划、建筑和市政设计更有效地结合在一起,充分开发地下空间,合理设置公共交通系统,尊重"人"的活动需求,提供丰富、广阔的活动、交流空间,实现"城市让人们生活得更美好"的目的。

Municipal design is being developed to 3D space design at present.Through a comparison of urban planning,municipal design and architecture design,the cause to urban illness has been discussed and the idea of urban design has been proposed.Its significance is presented through a discussion on the differences of urban planning,municipal design and architecture design.Looking back to the developments of Guangzhou urban infrastructures construction and taking Zhu River New City for example,three aspects of planning,architecture and municipal design are integrated effectively by introducing the idea of urban design.The underground space has been developed sufficiently and public traffic system has been set up reasonably,and the design can meet with the demands of people ’s activities with providing enough &wide activity space,which can realize the aim ofBetter City,Better Life.
