生态校园研究概述

Summary on Eco-campus Research

高校作为一个复杂的生态系统,一般人口众多,规模宏大,运转复杂,对环境产生严重的直接和间接的影响.随着对这种影响认识的日益深刻,生态校园的建设已经成为一个全球性的话题.生态校园的建设能够很大程度上减少高校在教学、科研和日常生活中对物资和能源的消耗,以及由此导致的环境污染和退化.本文总结了生态校园的概念与内涵,建设原则,评价体系,建设实践和展望,以期为生态校园的建设和管理提供依据和参考.

Universities are complicated ecological system due to their large size,population,and the various complex activities taking place in campuses,which have some serious direct and indirect impacts on the environment.Eco-campus has become an issue of global concern as result of the realization of the impacts the activities and operations of universities have on the environment.The environmental pollution and degradation caused by universities in form of material and energy consumption via activities and operations in teaching,research and daily life could be considerably reduced by construction of eco-campus.In this paper,the conception and connotation,construct principles,evaluate system,practices and prospects of eco-campus are summarized for the better construction and management of eco-campus.
