当归补血汤是补气生血的代表方,其药味少,配伍精,用于治疗气血两虚证,其效果已被临床证实。宋绍亮教授认为,风湿病多由脏腑内蕴湿热毒邪,每易耗伤气血,正气损伤复不能驱邪外出,临床常用当归补血汤以扶正补虚。

Danggui Buxue Decoction is a representative prescription of treatment of invigorating qi to produce blood. It consists of a few kinds of Chinese Medicine with precise compatibility. It is used to treat deficiency of both qi and blood and the effect has already been verified clinically. In the opinion of Professor SONG Shao-liang, rheumatic diseases are caused by accumulation of dampness and heat in Zangfu-organs. Dampness and heat often damage healthy qi and blood. Deficient healthy qi fails tO eliminate pathogenic factors. In clinic, Danggui Buxue Decoction is commonly used to strengthen healthy Qi and reinforce insufficiency.
