This paper expounds in-depth the beauty in architectural decoration in modern buildings of Harbin from the four aspects such as aesthetic idea,aesthetic translation,aesthetic indication and aesthetic interest and charm on the basis of the theory of western traditional aesthetics and transmission semiology by making a comparative study on the example of architectural decoration in modern buildings of Harbin.
