This paper firstly introduces the development of critical regionalism and the theories given by Lewis Mumford,Alexander Tzonis and Kenneth Frampton,then introduces Alvar Aalto and his Syntsalo Town Hall design briefly,ultimately discusses the regional expression and interpretation in Alvar Aalto＇s buildings with the example of his Syntsalo Town Hall.
