唐山博物馆作为唐山市经历了大地震考验的唯一保存下来的一组大型公共建筑,其改扩建项目在建设之初就被赋予了传承城市历史、记忆城市的使命。文章从对既存环境的延续、建筑与功能的更新及空间与生活体验几方面解读新唐山博物馆设计,寻求作为城市中的建筑记忆城市、融入城市生活的本源。

The reconstruction and extension of Tangshan Museum, the only large public building surving the earthquake of Tangshan, has since its beginning been laden with a task of passing down the history and memory of the city. This article offers an analysis of the New Tangshan Museum from several perspectives, the continuity of the existing setting, the architectural and functional renewal, and the experience of space and life, with an aim to seek the origin of urban memory, urban life and architecture of the city.
