本文详细地叙述了1720年清军为了驱逐盘踞西藏的准噶尔部,在青藏高原上大规模行军的经过。对于事前的部署、筹划,行军的阶段、时间,南北两路军队的遭遇等等,依据原始史料,一一作了细致的描述。尤其指明,这一场战事得以极顺利地达到目的,与藏族官兵民众的响应、支援是分不开的。以往有关论著,关于此段战史,记述每嫌简略。

According to firsthand historical materials this article describes in detail the course of the large-scale march of the Qing dynasty's armies on the Qinghai-Tibet plateau in 1720 in order to expel the Dzungar Mongols who had forcibly occupied Tibet,such as the beforehand planning,disposition in advance,phases and timings,the hard experiences of the two armies marching along the south route and the north route,etc.;and points out with emphasis that the response and support of the local officers and men and the people of the Tibetan ethnic group were the important guarantee for these military operations to achieve purposes and goal very smoothly.This article can be regarded as an explorative supplement to the descriptions of the above-mentioned military operations'history in relevant works published in the past,which seem somewhat oversimplified.
