基于细化指纹图像特征提取的改进算法

摘要 文章深入研究了细化指纹图像细节点提取算法,针对常规提取算法中存在一定数量的伪细节点问题,提出了一种改进的细化指纹图像细节点提取算法。该算法在原有提取算法的基础上,在细节点提取中采用了邻域查找删除、边缘删除等措施。实验表明,该算法显著地减少了伪细节点的提取,是一种较为理想的细化指纹图像细节点提取算法。 Minutiae extraction on thinning fingerprint images is studied deeply in this article. For used minutiae extraction algorithm, there exist some false minutiaes. A new improved minutiae extraction algorithm is proposed to solve the problem. The algorithm searches and omits minutiaes in neighbor fields, omits marginal minutiaes. Through lots of experiments, the algo- rithm has been proved to a better minutiae extraction algorithm which can significantly reduce false minutiaes in the extracting process.
