历代墓志铭的不断出土,为历史和文学的研究提供了宝贵的材料。然因年代久远,有些墓志铭因故受到损坏而致使铭文难辨,并因为整理者的种种原因而使得这些首次披露的墓志录文出现一些如断句、误录等错误地方,而有些地方亦存在较大争议,凡此种种均有待商榷。

Ancient epitaphs unearthed continuously provide valuable materials for the study of history, and literature.But some eepitaph inscriptions have been damaged for some reasons and so as to be indecipherable. There are some mistakes such as punctuation and wrong records etc. in the epitaphs revealed for the first time due to various reasons related to collaters, in some of which there is considerable controversy. All that lies open to question.
